Dr Teoh Jian Woei is an ENT specialist in Johor Bahru providing diagnosis and treatment for ear, nose and throat conditions. With nearly two decades of medical experience, he graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2006, completing his postgraduate ENT training at the same university. As a leading doctor at our ENT clinic in Johor Bahru, he is registered with the Malaysian Medical Council and National Specialist Registry.
Background & training
Dr Teoh Jian Woei has consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout his medical training. He graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2006 for his undergraduate medical degree and continued his postgraduate Otorhinolaryngology training at the same institution.
His accolades include the prestigious Professor Sani Award for achieving the top score in the final exit examination, the Best Student Award for the Part 1 Year 1 examination, and recognition for excellence in temporal bone and head & neck dissection. He has also been honored with the “Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang” (Excellent Service Award) by the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
Dr Teoh is an active researcher with publications in local and international medical journals. He has pursued advanced training through workshops in otology, head and neck surgery, paediatric ENT, rhinology, laryngeal surgery, and emergency ENT management. His expertise includes advanced endoscopic sinus surgery and skull base exposure.
He is fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and the National Specialist Registry (NSR) as an Otorhinolaryngologist.
